BMA Gold Limited has 4 Exploration Permits for Minerals and 1 Mining Lease covering 380 square kilometres of prospective ground at Twin Hills in Central Queensland. An Environmental Operating Strategy incorporating mining and milling operations has been completed and an Environmental Authority (MIM800160503) has been granted. Mining operations at 309 mine and the 280km haulage of ore to Rishton treatment plant at Charters Towers ceased in the first half of 2007. Surplus assets were sold and equity capital was raised late in 2007 to support the Company's plans to focus on exploration at Twin Hills. The aim is to significantly increase the resource base on the properties to a level that would support a processing plant located at site or within the region.
